In China, since 1990, the port container throughput grows as more than 30% average annual. With the increase of port throughput, container transport brought new problems to the port. Firstly, large-scale container ship is the forward direction in order to meet international container transportation needs. The large-scale ship has brought new problems, such as the planning and construction of container terminals, mechanical configuration, handling scheduling, yard management. Secondly, it has become the most concern that increasing the level of the port service to improve the port market competitiveness with the context of rapid growth of the global container port throughput.The port scheduling is the most important sector of organization and commanding of the port production, so the implementation of port production scheduling informationization plays a decisive role in the implementation process of port informatization. Only the full use of internet and network technology provided by modern technology, the establishment of an integrated, open information system really contributes to reasize the pivotal role in the whole social in the distribution network of port.First, the model of container ship loading problems is established in this paper,.The modeles contain a minimum waste of volume model, a minimum waste of quality model and the multi- objective model based on the minimum waste of volume and quality.Second, this paper presents the global optimum and local optimum history of continuous particle swarm algorithm and provides reference for the discrete particle swarm algorithm. Furthermore, the proposed discrete particle swarm algorithm is applied to solve the container ship loading problem, and achieved desired effect, and has practical applications Significance.At last, the container port production scheduling system is divided into three layers using a centralized application model and the function of each layer is analysised in detail.
