Train loading system is the critical terminal of a train loading process.As the output of modern ore handling port increases,the stability and uptime of the train loading system imposes a huge impact on the productivity of ore handling port.This dissertation analyses the causes of faults appearing in a standard train loading mechanism,provides fault analysis as well as the design of troubleshooting hardware and software,and then proves its effectiveness in practical application.Firstly,it analyses the equipment structure and process of an ore port train loading system.For transfer gate board blockage,loading gate misplacement and train matching fault caused by abnormal chute angle,it digs into their root causes while summarizing the rules by which the train loader matching system fails.Secondly,it takes a fault analysis on the common faults of transfer gate board and loading gate chute angle.For transfer gate board fault,it designs a fault diagnosis system which is based on multi-sensor data gathering.Model selection and interface design for newly added fault detecting sensor and automatic actuator enables the displacement control of transfer gate board,with pressure protection being equipped.For loading gate fault,logic-based fault diagnosis system has been designed,and the model selection and interface design for newly added fault detecting sensor have also been provided.Moreover,chute angle has been optimized according to the classification of ore and the seasonal characteristics of train loading operation.Finally,the human-computer interaction system and PLC programming of the train loader controlling PC have been improved,which enables operators to notice and address faults as fast as possible.As a result,train loader control system faults diagnosis has been realized,troubleshooting gets faster,thus ensuring the safety,stability and efficiency of train loading operation.
