The energy loss reduction of the port is becoming more and more important forimplementing the strategic principle of building resource-saving and environment-friendlysociety. Therefore, in modern economic conditions, how to improve energy utilizationefficiency, reduce production costs, in order to improve the economic efficiency ofenterprises become increasingly important energy saving work in ports. Access to a largenumber of domestic and foreign literatures, and combined with the actual workingconditions of a port, the paper researches the energy-saving optimization of the coalhandling system, the main work is as follows:Firstly, the coal handling equipments and systems of the port are analyed, andstudying the measures of the energy saving and loss reduction of the port, for exemplecontrol the numbers of the running motors, transform connection for asynchronous motors,the automatic control of the flow of materials, the inverse priming of loading andunloading processes and so on.Secondly, aiming at the status of energy saving in Huanghua port, and combining theactual conditions of coal handling technology, determined to use three measures forstudying the energy saving scheme: establishing the electric power monitoring andassessment system; implementing the inverse priming for the loading and unloadingprocesses and to optimize the allocation of handling equipment; reducing the runningmotor which is the belt machine drive motors.Finally, detailed the design of structural and functional of the electric powermonitoring and assessment system. Proposed to implement the inverse priming for theloading and unloading processes, and based on this to establish a mathematical model ofthe shipping device configuration with minimum energy consumption, using BacterialColony Chemotaxis to solve, and using MATIAB to simulation. Designing the measure ofreducing the running motor which is the belt machine drive motors.In this paper, three aspects are analyzed which are for energy saving and lossreduction of the port: establishing the electric power monitoring and assessment system, process optimization, and the technology of reducing motor. That making the electricityconsumption of port enterprises to be comprehensively understood, and easing the" Maracar" phenomenon well. Obtaining very good effect of energy saving.
