Miniature circuit breaker is an important appliance component in low-voltage electrical distribution system, it is not only able to make or break the load current and overload current, but also break the short circuit current. When the electrical line has some serious faults such as overload, short-circuit, phase failure, leakage and so on, the MCB can cut off the line automatically in time to isolate the fault and the electrical distribution network lines, the electrical equipments and the motors can be protected by this way. miniature circuit breaker delay characteristic test system can be good test performance of miniature circuit breaker overload protection,it is important for the safe of low voltage distribution system, therefore there is high practical value to study the characteristic of the overload protection of miniature circuit breaker.In this paper, it studied delay characteristic test system of the miniature circuit breaker. Depended on the studying object of miniature circuit breaker, it analyzed the action current of delay characteristic and the influencing factors to the characteristic, solved the problems of adjusting and steadying current which occurred during the testing, measured the action time of the delay characteristic of MCB. Base on the PIC microcontroller, this paper studied the communication function of the delay characteristic testing system of MCB, realized the communication between the principal computer and the subordinate computer. Finally, to provide a guarantee for the stability of the entire test system this paper studied the anti-interference of the testing system, put forward some feasible measures.
