With the sustainable development of low-voltage circuit breaker production process, new products have sprung up. In order to ensure the various performance indicators of the circuit breaker conform to the relevant provisions, it is necessary to test the new product before delivery, so a variety of detection equipment of the circuit breaker arise at the historic moment. Especially for the electrical life characteristics of the circuit breaker, the detection equipment and technology become more and more advanced. With the sustainable development of PLC technology, which has many advantages such as easy to use, powerful function, high reliability, strong expansion capability and so on, it has been widely used in low-voltage circuit breaker electrical life testing field.In this thesis, the present situation and development trend of the miniature circuit breaker and its electrical life testing system are summarized, and the relevant principles of the circuit breaker electrical life testing project are analyzed in detail. The overall design scheme of miniature circuit breaker electrical life testing system is put forward, and the miniature circuit breaker electrical life testing system is designed, which with SIMATIC(Siemens) touch screen for the upper computer, S7-1200 PLC as lower computer. The Siemens S7-1200 PLC control servo motor to do the base displacement movement, on the basis of the movement it can complete opening and closing, tripping, over-current and shunt trip, overvoltage and undervoltage tripping, a total of six kinds of tests.The touch screen control system is designed with Siemens WinCC configuration software, through the touch screen the test parameters and implement monitoring can be easily set, the servo motor PLC control program is designed with STEP7 configuration software, and a precise control of servo motor is achieved. Through the combination of the touch screen and the lower computer, the accurate control and humanized operation of the electric life testing system of the miniature circuit breaker is realized.The IPC test data monitoring interface is designed with the LabVIEW software, the remote monitoring of electrical life testing parameters and real-time data is realized, which greatly facilitates the operation and management of the testing personnel.
