Miniature circuit breaker is a kind of protective equipment,which is widely used in household and industrial buildings and distribution line terminal.If the protection is not successful,electrical appliances may be damaged due to short circuit or overload,which even causes fire,significant economic losses and endangers personal safety.Therefore,predicting the remaining life of miniature circuit breakers,making judgments before the termination of life and replacing in time can improve the reliability of power control systems and ensure the safety of power lines and equipment.In this paper,the YCB6H-63(2P)type miniature circuit breaker is used as the research object.Firstly,the circuit breaker life test device and its main function are introduced,and the analog input error is studied.Characteristic parameters of miniature circuit breaker related to electrical life test are obtained,in which the arcing duration,the accumulated arcing power and the accumulated arcing energy are analyzed in detail.Then the factor analysis and BP neural network are deeply studied and analyzed,and the prediction model of BP neural network based on factor analysis is established.Finally,the arcing duration,the accumulated arcing power and the accumulated arcing energy the three characteristic parameters were analyzed by factor analysis,identifying two main components of most of the information can represent the electrical life test of circuit breaker,namely "energy component " and "time component".Two principal components are used as input of BP neural network to predict the electrical life of the circuit breaker.The predicted results and the prediction relative error are obtained,and the prediction relative error is within ±15%,which is considered to meet the needs of project.
