The Contrast And Analysis For The "Localization" Exploration Of The Construction Of Cross-strait

With the 30 years of reform and opening up, the market economy gradually thoroughing, the construction industry in China has become one of pillar industries of national economy. In the 10 years of twenty-first Century, it is rare of the construction scale and number in mainland China in other parts of the world. Amazing building volume attracts large numbers of competent construction professionals, in all parts of the country's performing arts competition, also make the world architectural masters to China this experimental field to complete their dream of building. Students and scholars pay attention to this fanatical phenomenon. Globalization and localization of overlapping, conflicts, which caused by the construction industry excitement and anxiety, is influencing a new generation of young architects think deeply, and their works. The idea of the people of mainland China is also in changing.On the other side of the Strait, Taiwan has taken off the economy in sixty or seventy time, so it has entered the ranks of developed area. In 1988 the political transition laid out a political and economic environment of architectural aesthetics to permit and encourage all flowers bloom together for the construction industry. Post modernism in Taiwan began to spread. To the center doctrine, multiple value requirements, vulnerable population rising, requirement of power redistribution of each ethnic group, subjectivity and identity are improved, the topic of the social widespread concern become the considering elements in the creative process for architects.The general social care orientation for contemporary Taiwan architects and social workers, is worth learning from the mainland architects and scholars. In 2008, after the Wenchuan earthquake, how do we need to examine the future of Chinese architecture, how do we need to view our architectural creation? whether does China need to slow down the pace of the construction to carries on some social care? How should we make our own "national " building? Because the complete copy of western forms despise the "native" rich architectural heritage.These are the real problem in the "national" building exploring to answer.
