Research On Critical Issues Of Community Participation

In these days,with the diversification of community governance,we break through traditional government-driven mode by degrees.Real estate developers try to turn themselves into community operators.Lots of changes follow: the communities grow to maturity;the organization forces emerge.In the meanwhile,the public participation becomes a topical issue.However,the scales,properties and developing stages of different communities are entirely distinct,the practice of public participation also happens in different ways.In the context,this paper selects three typical communities as the cases in the study of public participation.This study aimed to estimate the state and trend of participation mechanism with personal experience by analyzing the different characteristics of different projects in different communities and closely examining the critical issues in the cases.On the basis of the study,on the one hand,this paper summarizes the key factors and critical issues that affecting the public participation through the comparison of the three cases in the terms of factors and dimensions and generalizes three typical modes of community participation.On the other hand,this paper,aimed to carry out intensive research to discuss universal conclusions for all kinds of communities and explore the limitations of China’s public participation,is also expected to find out some specific measures to improve the performance of today’s community construction.
