| Maintenance management of equipments, which is an indispensable part of equipment management, is of great importance for sustaining and improving the availability and readiness of equipments. The artillery regiment is an important type of our army force. The informationization of equipment maintenance in artillery regiment is of practical value to improving the equipment readiness and finally enhancing the battle effectiveness.Based on the informationization process equipment management in our army, this thesis makes an in-depth analysis of the status of maintenance management of equipments in an artillery regiment. In order to meet the practical military needs, we study the development of"Equipment Maintenance Support System for Artillery Regiment (EMSSAR)"as well as its project management.Based on the characteristics of maintenance process and the status of maintenance management of equipments in artillery regiment, this thesis analyzes the system requirements of the EMSSAR, specifies the building target and its functions. Then we make conduct the system analysis and determine the business and data flows. We also present designs on system structure and technology architecture, database design, etc. Based on the system design, this paper uses the basic theories and methods of project management to solve the project management problems in system development process, with consideration of the actual development process of EMSSAR.We first present the work breakdown structure and make a detailed development plan. Network planning method is used to control the plan. The earned value method is utilized to management the cost and progress of development. Quality control, project risk control and technical state control are also taken care of to ensure the system construction projects operation robust.The successful development of"Equipment Maintenance Support System for Artillery Regiment"shows the validity of project management method in this thesis. |
