With the rapid development of the country's economy, the city scale continue to expand and the urban industries continue to relocate, which make the satellite town and the industrial areas far from the downtown business district established and require speed up the urban and suburban railway's establishment in order to meet the daily life and work needs. The feature of suburban railway is long lines and long distance between stations. Thus, the general speed level of 80 km/h can not meet the need and suburban railway should choose a higher speed to make the purpose of time saving, convenience, economy and speediness. Based on those, this paper studied A-type metro bogie of 100 km/h speed.At present, internal mature operation of 100 km/h speed is only Guangzhou Metro Line 3 and Tianjin Binhai fast line. The Shanghai Metro Line 11 northern section opened in the end of 2009, set the speed at 100 km/h, and the southern section raise up the maximum speed of 120 km/h. So it is essential that study the metro with a relatively high speed.This paper describes the content through the five parts. Chapter one described background of this paper, current development of 100 km/h speed metro and contents of this paper. Chapter two described the overall design of the bogie and its component parts. Chapter three described the finite element method and analysis software of this design. Chapter four described the bogie frame for calculation of static strength analysis, fatigue analysis, and modal analysis. Chapter five described the framework for static strength and fatigue strength test, and the findings of the trial conclusion. In this paper, the result with the corresponding calculation analysis and test analysis has certain reference value for future work to provide a reference.
