With the continuous development of the subway, the proportion of the metro vehicles in urban rail transit become more and more important, and the safety of metro vehicles becomes the focus of people. The development of the subway is carried out under the premise of ensuring the driving safety. In order to ensure the safety of the normal vehicle, the reliability of the railway vehicle structure is ensured.Therefore, the structure strength of the metro vehicles is widely concerned by the insider.As the core component of metro vehicle, the research of the metro bogie frame strength has been paid much attention and the strength performance of good or bad will directly affect the safety of driving.This paper takes new Metro Bogie of China on type ZMA120 Metro Bogie Frame as an example, conducts the research to its strength properties, and on the basis of the framework for improvement of structure optimization of preliminary.First of all, we simplify the part structure of the framework, and establish assembly model of improved Bogie Frame by 3D software SolidWorks, and then imported into Hyper Mesh software to establish the finite element model.Secondly, on the basis of the Bogie Test of UIC615-4OR the structural strength of frame standard, we will evaluate the static strength of Metro Bogie Frame by using the platform ANSYS of treatment, the results showed that the static strength of Bogie Frame is satisfied of the requirements. And then we evaluate fatigue strength of key points on the framework by using Goodman map, the results show that each key point on the framework does not occur fatigue failure in various working conditions.Thirdly, in order to verify that the design of Bogie Frame is satisfied with the overhaul system of subway in our country, we predict the life of framework on its some parts of prone fatigue failure of the frame such as brake beam hanger seat, gear box seat, motor suspension seat. And combined with the maintenance system of subway in our country carries on the contrast analysis. The results show that fatigue life of brake beam hanger seat, gear box seat, motor suspension seat are all greater than 10 years that the system of subway in our country stipulated.Finally, optimizing the design of frame structure to meet the requirement of the lightweight design under the strength requirements to meet the premise.
