With the rapid development of the country’s economy, the city scale continues to expand and people’s living standards also rise, in addition, the requirements of transport are also rising. Because of its large traffic volume, convenient and less environmental pollution, the subway becomes the first choice of transport for more and more cities. Looking from the actual situation of our country, B-type metro of 80 km/h speed grade is the first choice of many subway cars. Based on those, this paper studied B-type metro bogie of 80 km/h speed grade, and also has some reference and practical value to the development of urban rail vehicles.This paper introduces the present situation and development of various types of subway, and the main content of the article what is made clear in it. Then, through the bogie research and analysis of each component, and the corresponding parameter selection, the paper determines the overall design of the bogie. Finally, by the finite element software (eg ANSYS), anlyse strength and mode of the bogie, complete a bogie static strength and fatigue strength tests. The results show that the lower area of the static strength safety factor of the frame structure is in the arc region of the traction base and the arc region of gearbox hanging seat forgings;the weak areas of fatigue strength concentrated in under the cover of the motor mount and the butt weld area of motor positioning plate,the connecting weld area of the upper and lower cover ends and beam steel pipe,closing to the beam pipe of the upper and lower cover of the motor mount of base metal arc region,the base metal arc region of the central region of the brake hanging seat and the transition arc region of the cross section of secondary vertical damper holder. Bogie strength test results show that the static strength and fatigue strength meet the requirements,and the analysis is consistent with the calculation results.Based on the overall design, strength analysis and modal analysis of 80km/h speed grade B-type metro bogie, the article conducts a more comprehensive representation of the B-type metro. Moreover, the article has a reference value to a certain extent and help the research carried out in future.
