Land use / land cover change (LUCC) is a cause and result of global change, LUCC has become a hot topic in global change. Land use / land cover data acquisition is an important basis work for LUCC research. With the rapid development of remote sensing technology, extracting the land use / land cover thematic information by remote sensing has become an essential step in LUCC research. Global environmental change affect local and regional scale living environment (landscape), and human activities and by different land uses, change the local land and land cover, landscape pattern, and then contribute to global environmental change. Therefore, local land-use cover change analysis contributes to global environmental change research.In this paper, Aksu oasis is the study area, to the 1990 TM, 2000 ETM and 2009 ALOS as the data of research , and remote sensing image processing software ERDAS used for image pre-processing and interpretation, and get the landscape raster data of 1990,2000 and 2009,based on the use of space remote sensing and GIS analysis in the study area of Aksu oasis's land use change process and the amount of space Pattern analysis of oasis land use types and number of spatial and temporal changes in the law, and in the Land Use / Land Cover Change in trend analysis based on the results of natural factors, human factors, social policy factors driving mechanisms research and analysis on land use / land cover change and it's influence. Through analysis, can get the following conclusions:(1)In 1990-2000 , Aksu larger land-use change , mainly in the grassland area decreased significantly compared to 2000 reduced 80292 hm~2 , the cultivated area increased 138268hm~2, forest land and unused land area decreased significantly . That within this decade investment in agriculture in the region is relatively large, the relevant measures under the influence of human activities and a large area of grassland into cultivated land.(2)In 2000-2009, the land use change mainly in the grassland, farmland, forest area continues to decline, the unused land area are apparently increased.The Study result shows that, 1990 - 2009 period, the Aksu oasis of a larger pattern of land use change, grassland, forest area, water reduced in different level, the farmland and residential area was increased. further spatial quantization of human impact indicate that: the central artificial oasis system of Aksu is the relatively high levels human impact region, which remained a traditional agricultural landscape features, the form of human development and utilization activities mainly in the majority of agricultural production Of grassland, desert area and some waterland is the regions of low human impact, its impact of human activities is still in a relatively small state, but the effect of the human tendency to spread.
