Enshi City is located in the southwest of Hubei Province.The terrain is complex.With the development of social economy,population growth and urbanization process,the land use and land cover and landscape pattern in Enshi City have changed a lot.In order to make sustainable use of the land and ecological restoration and construction of the landscape,we must master the characteristics of the land use and land cover change and landscape pattern change in Enshi City.Based on remote sensing technology,this paper interprets five phases of images of Enshi City from 2000 to 2015,and obtains the land use map of each period.On this basis,it analyzes the land change characteristics of Enshi City from two aspects of land use and land cover change and landscape pattern change.For the study of land use and land cover change,the mathematical models of land use change amplitude,dynamic degree,land use trend degree and land use degree are used for quantitative analysis,the confusion matrix is used to study the mutual conversion of land use types,and the principal component analysis method is used to explore the human driving factors of land use and land cover change.In the study of landscape pattern,Frahstats4.2 is mainly used to analyze the landscape index of each land use map.The main landscape indexes selected include the number of patches,patch density,spread juxtaposition index,aggregation index and landscape shape index at landscape type level,as well as the number,patch density,spread juxtaposition index,Shannon diversity index and Shannon evenness at landscape level Index and spread index.Results:(1)from 2000 to 2015,forest land and arable land were the main land use types in Enshi City,accounting for more than 90% of the total area,and the range of land use change was forest land,arable land,water area,unused land,construction land and grassland in turn.(2)from the overall dynamic degree of land use change,from 2000 to 2015,the speed of land use change in Enshi City was from large to small The second is construction land,unused land,water area,cultivated land,forest land and grassland.The overall change rate of forest land,construction land and grassland is positive 0.68%,18.72% and 0.21% respectively,and the overall change rate of cultivated land,water area and unused land is negative 1.28%,4.55% and 5.52% respectively.Considering the process of land transfer in and out,the rate of land use types has changed,and the intensity of land type changes from large to small are construction land,grassland,unused land,water area,cultivated land and forest land.(3)From 2000 to 2015,the land use degree of Enshi City decreased,and the land use of Enshi City was in the adjustment stage.The transformation of land use types is frequent,mainly from cultivated land to forest land,from unused land,water area and cultivated land to construction land,and from forest land to grassland.(4)The economic development,population growth and urbanization level of Enshi City have a certain impact on the land use and land cover change of Enshi City,and the degree of impact is gradually increasing.(5)From 2000 to 2015,the fragmentation degree of landscape in Enshi decreased and the aggregation degree increased.The shape of forest land,construction land and water area has gradually become regular.(6)In general,although the gap of landscape types in Enshi City is larger and the composition of landscape types is more unbalanced,the degree of landscape fragmentation is reduced and the connectivity and integrity are improved.From 2000 to 2015,more cultivated land in Enshi city changed into forest land and construction land.Effective measures should be formulated to protect basic farmland.The degree of landscape fragmentation is reduced,the internal connectivity and integrity of each landscape type are increased,and the ecological environment of Enshi City is more stable.Therefore,we should continue to implement the current ecological protection measures and policies.
