As the population explosion and the progress of the society, the people of the land use intensity constantly increasing, style constantly changing, as a result of the natural environment and human activity, the land use/cover change(LUCC) is directly related with the quality of the regional development and ecological environment. Yulin region as the ecologically fragile area, ecological problems extrude, the ecological environment is extremely sensitive, is today’s academic research hot spots. This paper study the change of Yulin area land use, analysis kinds of impact factors, and predict the future Yulin region land use change situation, reveal the regional land use change trend, guiding people reasonably planning of land utilization way, and provide the basis for land management department.This paper based on the remote sensing image as the basic data sources, using Arcgis, ERDAS and IDRISI software for data processing and image generation, analysis Yulin district land use change in 2000 and 2005,and discuss the cultivated land, construction land, forest land, grassland this four main classes of influence factors, considering the actual situation to get four land types’ suitability map, on this basis of general atlas of the suitability maps generated suitability, using CA-MARKOV model of the IDRISI software to predict Yulin land use change in 2015 and 2020.
