With the realistic problem of Performance Management (PM), this paper elucidated, through tracing to the source of the PM theory and looking back the history of the PM idea, that PM and PE (Performance Evaluation) have come down in one continuous line, that it should be adopted, if it correspond with the needs of practice, either it is the PE in former days or the PM today. And it pointed out that the essential of PM action is that to manage and to control PM information, but the main current theory of PM has 'systematic flaws'. So the research of PM has the necessity to return to the principle of Management Control (MC) theory.Through analyzing the present situation of the PM in our country's enterprises, the author espied that the non-matches is one of the reason in the realistic problems. So, when we carry out PM, we cannot avoid the enterprise strategic environment, and has no alternative but to consider the enterprise strategic stress and match (Correspondence).This paper introduced the management control theory as the normative approach tool of PM. It induced PM system factors to four essentials: environments, goals, control variables, management flows. Both environments and goals are exogenous variables. In the point of the theory about MC, there is a clear logical channel across them: orientations of PM goals based on PM environments, and then control variables and management flows should rest on the environments and goals. Under the different environments, the goals of PM need to pay attentions to different characteristic and different combinative control variables, further, the different techniques of management flows should be adopted in gathering, communicating and feedback process. Hereby, according to MC methods, the author constructed the Circulation Model of PM Matching Selection (CMPMMS).This model ensures the control variables and flows to be unceasingly optimized and assembled. So that, the 'systematic flaws' in present PM systems could be effectively overcome. Surrounding the route of CMPMMS based on the PM essential factors, the paper proposed some interrelated strategies, such as the strategies for trade characteristics, the strategies for strategic differences, the strategies for market competitions, the strategies in life cycles, and so on. Then, according to this choosing route, it will follow a rational line to do some work well, in effectively assembling the whole bag of tricks, including Borman two-dimension model, KPI, BSC, etc.Aiming at the PM practice of K corporation, this paper reviewed its PM policy adopted in each stage of its history, and analyzed the points of its excellence and shortcoming. In this case, the paper also analyzed and diagnosed its PM practice status quo. by the PMMSCM. In the end, it pointed out some optimized plans and some new ways for this company's PM, expecting to be a good practice direction offered to other corporations.
