Performance management has become the center of modern enterprise management. Performance management in the operation of enterprises with three core purposes: it can ensure enterprises strategic objectives to be achieved; it can improve the performance of organizations and individuals; and it can be as a standard for judging the distribution of interests. However, in the process of implementing enterprise performance management, performance management did not achieve the desired results, but after the implementation of performance management, a series of problems has been caused and the enterprises encounter the adverse effect. There are a lot of reasons to affect the completing of performance management. The leader did not have the insufficient understanding to the effect of enterprise performance management, or corporate culture can not suit the enterprises performance management, and enterprises performance management is not kept pace with enterprise management in the constantly changing external environment, etc. This paper describes some negative effects that appear after implementing performance management. Implement the case of performance management to three companies such as the group of Baoan, Making a concrete analysis of the reason why the performance manages the negative effects. Pass the development of enterprise's performance theory and research of trend during these years, Holistic Performance Management System and Total Performance Scorecard suit the enterprises needs. According to the reason and combining the developing of management theory of the performance of the above-mention, this paper provides some solutions and improvement to performance management.
