Risk-based Relationship Between Software Project Risk Management

The software industry of China has been developing rapidly. But by lack of risk management, there always have been problems of time, cost and quality of software project. At the same time, as the rapid growth of software industry and development of software technology, software exploitation tends to be longer periods, bigger scale and wider scope. The number of risks becomes more and their relationships are complex. Therefore, it is meaningful to analyze the risk relationships and make efficient risk management of software development.This paper firstly reviewed the history and state-of-the-art of software project risk management subject, introduced the concept and characteristic of this subject and comparatively analyzed the classical software project risk management modes. Base on above research, the paper suggested introducing the risk relationship into risk management and then gave a set of software project risk management methods based on the risk management course of risk identification, risk analysis, risk response and risk updating.In the risk identification phase, by reviewing & analyzing the risk identification methods, a goal oriented risk & relationship identification method was brought forward. Then the goals of the phase of requirement analysis, design, coding and test were summarized. As an assistant, by the means of literature research and questionnaire research, a 2-demension risk database was built. Also based on questionnaire research, a correlation analysis of risk factors was executed and the risk relationships were analyzed. Then the goal-risk relationship model of the phase of requirement analysis, design, coding and test were presented.In the risk analysis phase, base on the goal-risk relationship model, the conditional probability analysis method was presented to analyzing risk probability; the AHP method was presented to analyzing risk influence.
