With more and more IT system applied in manufacturing industry, many companies regarded MES software as an important way to increase their productivity and core competitiveness. It even became one of necessary manufacturing elements in Hi-Tech industries. Therefore, the growing solar industry also paid more attention on MES and start planning and action. Some of leading domestic companies, such as SunTech, Trina and Canadian Solar, already have own detailed solution and even started trial run. But, because the solar industry is very young, there is no existing industrial standard so there is not enough sample can be used for consulting company. The solar companies also don't have enough related talent for project implementation. And considering the unsure elements in software design, development and tuning, there are many risks in the process of MES software implementation.This article is based on this situation. On top of risk and project management theory, with risk management practice of company A, one of leading domestic solar companies, it analyzed both on qualitative and quantitative analysis. It provided effective identification, evaluation and operation for risk management, to increase the success percent in MES implementation.The main thesis covers the following aspects:At first, it introduced the research background, objective and significance, also the global situation of risk management in software implementation, to clarify the main frame of this article.Secondly, according to requirement and content of risk management in software implementation, basically it:1) established an indicate system of risk management in MES software implementation for domestic solar companies; 2) provided a risk assessment model which based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method; 3) realized risk analysis and evaluation on multi-factor in multi-stage.Thirdly, it analyzed the objective and necessity of risk management plan in the MES software implementation for domestic solar companies, and described the basic items of risk management plan.Fourthly, according to the objective and requirement of risk handling, it provided this strategy and relevant solution to prevent, control and avoid risk. And based on correlation analysis, it also established a risk alarming model for MES software project. This provided an effective method to prevent and control risks.In the whole process, with sample MES project case of company A, It analyzed various kind of risk factors and their relationship with system dynamics method, on top of classic risk management theory.Finally, it summarized the main research contents and results, also pointed out the shortage and brought the direction for further research.
