| Along with the steady development and improvement of market economy in China, Supply Chain Management, as the third source of profit after reduction of material consumption and improvement of labor productivity, has attracted greater attention from enterprise management. In recent years, researches on the Supply Chain Management have been developing. However, these researches are generally limited to digestion and absorption of advanced overseas experience, and therefore are relatively lack of practicality and pertinency. Such researches are inadequate to provide effective solutions applicable for management of Supply Chain Management in Chinese enterprises. As one of national strategic material, the crude oil supply in petroleum and petrochemical industry is characterized by diversification, sophistication and specificity. Accomplishment of the task of Crude Oil Supply Chain Management is of extreme urgency and great operation significance for Chinese petroleum enterprises facing severe market competition. Such task deserves serious consideration and put into practice. This article attempts to propose an effective framework of Crude Oil Supply Chain Management based on the practical situation of PetroChina Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as PetroChina) and to provide helpful reference and guidance for other Chinese petroleum enterprises.This article is composed of four (4) Chapters. Chapter One is an overview of Supply Chain Management, dissertating the connotation, essential factors and development trend of Supply Chain Management, the field of research and present situation in petroleum enterprises both domestic and abroad of Crude Oil Supply Chain Management. Chapter Two introduces the present situation of Crude Oil Supply Chain Management in PetroChina. Chapter Three analyses problems existing in Crude Oil Supply Chain Management in PetroChina. Chapter Four proposes methods to construct scientific system of Crude Oil Supply Chain Management in PetroChina. |
