Abstract/Summary:
1988 was a first inflexion point in the development of motor vehicle insurance. Since then motor vehicle insurance has been the largest types of property insurance. Now, motor vehicle insurance is confronted with a second inflection point because of property insurance companies'failing to control motor vehicle insurance agency channels effectively, with the result that motor vehicle insurance business scale became bigger and bigger, but more crowded thinner profits. With this background, the paper presents a new management thinking of "To Channelize" motor vehicle insurance agency channels. This paper is based upon the Business Intelligence technology in data warehouse of Sysnet Info-Tech Co., Ltd. And this paper utilizes the substantive operational status of PICC and the Pacific Property Insurance Company, and also complies with the policy of China Insurance Regulatory Commission on a system of risk assessment of Life Insurance Branches. This paper studied the domestic and overseas articles about the motor vehicle insurance agency management before designed the management system of motor vehicle insurance agency channels.This paper firstly, summarizes the theoretic and practical issues on the management of motor vehicle insurance agency channels. And then indicates the necessity and significance of designing agency channel management system. The motor vehicle insurance agency channel management system contains four subsystems. First, the paper brings forward a new assessment system of motor vehicle insurance agencies for property insurance companies; Second, the paper introduces a new early warning system of motor vehicle insurance agencies to meet the immediate demand of property insurances'monitoring and controlling motor vehicle insurance agency channels in advance; Third, the paper promotes a Bonus-Malus system of agencies in order to help property insurance companies to enhance the quality of survival of the agencies. Forth, the paper designs a management feedback system to make up with the aforementioned three subsystems to form an integrated management system of motor vehicle insurance agencies.
