China Motor Vehicle Compulsory Insurance System

The new "Safety law for road traffic of the People's Republic of China" brought in to effect on May 1st 2004. The third liability compulsion insurance of motor vehicle, as the most important guarantee in the road traffic safety system, is the first time definitude for the public as the form of "law". Later the State Department enacted "The regulation of the third liability compulsion insurance of motor vehicle (draft)" and asked for advice to the public on January 10th, 2005.On March 28th, 2006 "The regulations of the third liability compulsion insurance of motor vehicle" had promulgation and brought into effect on July 1st, 2006.This paper through the introduction of the theory of the third liability compulsion insurance of motor vehicle, combing with the state of our country, makes a deep discussion on the problems existed in the third liability compulsion insurance of motor vehicle.
