The significant loss of employees in manufacturing enterprises has brought huge adverse influences.Firstly,it increases the operating cost of the enterprise,including actual costs and intangible costs,which imposes additional burdens on the enterprise;Secondly,it results in issues such as decreased productivity and product quality,this can lead to a negative brand image with fallen market share.Moreover,the former company will face serious impacts and challenges once the resigned employees leave to the competing companies.Therefore,how to reduce the “brain drain” and maintain a stable workforce is a vital issue facing the manufacturing enterprises.By combining theoretical basis with academic references,this paper takes the employee of KL company as the research object.Practical questionnaire and interview method are used to obtain relevant data.Based on the further investigation of the data difference,correlation and regression analysis,this paper found that there’s a strong negative correlation between the company’s overall satisfaction and turnover intention.Besides,significant regression correlation also exists between the company’s overall satisfaction and turnover intention.Combined with the results mentioned above,external environment,internal management and private reasons were found out as the main factors that lead to employee’s turnover.The external factors can be summed up as increased employment opportunities with low entry barriers;while the internal factors are manifested in many aspects,such as uncompetitive salary and welfare,lack of management skills,ambiguous career development plans,weak corporate culture,.Additionally,changing personal mind on the current occupation and the accumulated dissatisfaction with their current jobs constitute the personal reasons of employee turnover.Aiming at the main factors leading to the loss of employees of KL Company,from the aspects of facing the external competition positively,establishing an effective human resources system,optimizing the company’s management system,working on a consummate labor training system,getting the pay raise,guiding the employees to establish a clear career view and focusing on the humanistic care for employees,this paper recommends several corresponding solutions on the employee retention strategy,which further help the company to realize high-quality development.
