| The hotel industry of China has enjoyed the powerful momentum of growth since China reformed and opened up to the outside world. Many high-star hotels have sprung up like bamboo after spring rain. However, in recent years, the pressure and risk on competition and operation of high star-level hotel is growing with each passing day because of many other factors. Managing human rescore well can be the key to win in the complicated market and obtain the sustainable development.Therefore, it will be quite necessary for a company to highlight the conscientiousness of risk prevention.This paper is on the basis of the theory of human resource management and chooses the S hotel’s reality as research object. Firstly, the paper gives the definition of human resource management, risk management and human resource risk management according to the relevant documents. Secondly, the paper explains the classification and definition of human resource risk, and introduces three methods for risk identification in detail. Thirdly, the paper makes a detailed analysis of S hotel’s human resource reality and identifies S hotel’s human resource risk through a questionnaire survey and experts’ marking methods. Finally, according to S hotel’s reality and target, the paper establishes protective measures directing against these risks.Through scientific study, the risk factors that exist during recruitment, payment,training and encouragement are further confirmed. Suggestion and measurements are put forward to cope with these risks.
