Taizhou Radio And Tv Continued The Institute Of Education Management Information System

The management information system (MIS) of the College of Continuing Education in Taizhou Radio and Television University is an important means of effective management of its daily work and its students from collabrative colleges and universities. On the Internet, students and teachers can have an access to the pages and take their correspondent activities, thus achieving their information exchange. The system consists of five modules: login module , student management module , teaching management module, finance management module and enrollment management module. The students management module is further divided into six submodules including results inquiry, results entry , lecture information management, test room arrangement information, students' basic information management and graduating class information management. The system involves different users such as students, class advisors, teachers, management staff of students and teaching management staff with different access authority.At the very beginning, the paper gives the background of the research, based on the related theory from home and abroad and mature B/S module for information management technology. It applied uml dynamic graphs to predict business demands and instances and corresponding illustrations to describe its function demands,trying to analyze systematic demands from different perspectives. During the phase of module design, uml dynamic graphs are also adopted to illustrate the functioning process of modules. Uml graphs also found its application in the data base design to present the tangible, the untangible, the tables and their dependency relationship as well as generalization. The system will be developed with ASP.NET+SQLServerl. The last part of the paper will conclude the findings and look forward to its prospects.The paper contributes its value in the field of information management for those adult distance education organizations at the grass-roots level , which can be designed based on the B/S module. The function of the system insures a standard management for the College of Continuing Education in Taizhou Radio and Television University.
