Since the reform and opening up, TV industry in China has displayed a prosperous situation, Relyed on local minority culture tradition, minority nationalities areas put promotiing minority culture as the the top priority of the importances,and found a series of television programs with national characteristics, these programs became a platform that can promote minority culture and accelerate cultural exchanges between nations.For a long time,Ningxia TV regards promoting minority culture as a distinguishing feature, the programs about minority in Ningxia TV play an irreplaceable role in disseminating minority culture and strengthening the understanding between different nationalitis,it's experience and achievents are worthy of learning and discussion.However, there are still many problems and shortcomings in these programs about minority.In this essay,I will use text analysis,ivestigation and interview methods to research the programs about minority in Ningxia TV, The prpose of this essay is to to point out the problems and dilemmas that minority programs of Ningxia TV faced,through text analysis on a number of programs and make a deep analysis of communication strategy,especially on cross-cultural communication perspective.In the last part of this article,I will make recommendations according to these problems.,and try to provide a reference and suggestion form content, packaging, positioning, marketing,etc.This eassy mainly consists of the following components:ChapterⅠ:The main content of this part is to introduce the the general situation of minority culture in Ningxia and minority programs of Ningxia TV. The purpose of this chapter is to deeply understand the minority culture of Ningxia,and will help to know the cultural backgroud of minority programs of Ningxia TV.ChapterⅡ:Make a detailed text analysis on typical programs about minority of Ningxia TV,such as "The hometown of'flowers'" and "Impression of Ningxia". Take TV program as the object of study, analyze narrating structure of "Impression of Ningxia",and how to construct and represent cultural norms system; For the research of "The hometown of'flowers'", through visual language system and auditory language system and program content to show its characteristics, and summarizes the program's strengths and weaknesses, to provide a theoretical basis for further study.ChapterⅢ:Based on relevant information and data, this part researchs the program strategy and cross-cultural communication skills from these aspects,such as positioning, programming and content arrangements,and point out the impacts of minority programs both on minority culture and cultural industry.ChapterⅣ:According to the study in chaptersⅡandⅢ,this chapter analyze internaldilemmas and shortcomings of minority programs in Ningxia TV,and make suggestions and countermeasures about how to improve these programs.Overall, based on program analysis, I expect to think the development of minority programs in Ningxia TV, to seek better better ways to disseminate minority culture through the television programs, if the above goals will be achieved,so that Ningxia TV will became more distinctive, get better ratings and more influence.
