Based On Small And Medium-sized Library Information Management System In Vb

With the rapid development of science and technology, The computer which is becoming increasingly popular and playing an increasingly important role in people's life . In the area of Book Information Management, almost all of the major libraries have been achieved Digital Management with computer. However, some agencies that still manage books with manual mode such as primary and secondary schools and little bookshops. This approach is complex, inefficient and cause much inconvenience for both administrator and readers.Through research the library of some primary and secondary schools,there are many books in their library,and the class of books is very vast,but the book administators are very less,so the usefulness of library is very inefficient. Therefore, we need to design a Book Information Management to achieve the operation of lending and returning the book,and the cost the system must cheap.This thesis discusses the Book Information Management designing for the small and medium Book Organization. Because the system need to achieve the objectives of easy to operate and maintain,so the system uses the soft development kit of Visual Basic 6.0. Moreover, because the number of books is very large and easily upgrade the system,so the Database in system uses MS SQL Server 2005 Database.The article first introducts the features of Visual Basic and SQL Server,and analyzes the achievable goals of the system,and design the Software Framework for the system,and discusses the software design methodology,and then sets out the operational process for the system,and finally illustrates the characteristics of the system function module. This thesis introduces a Book Information Management of Simple, efficient and safe primarily, and illustrates the implementation procedure of this system specifically.
