Based on software defined radio theory, the digital IF acquisition system has the features of hardware-defined and system re-configured. In recent years, with the rapid progress of hardware technology including field programmable logic chip, signal sampling and digital down converter, the digital IF system has a significant upgrade in digitizing high speed signal, signal processing, flexible scheduling of system resources and performance/cost ratio. Software defined radio technology is widely used in modern radar system and wireless communication.Higher signal acquisition and processing capability, algorithm of simulation capability in board-level is a developing direction to digital IF acquisition system in signal acquisition, tracking, demodulation and other occasions. In light of this, combined with the project "ES554 Digital IF acquisition and processing module" which is undertook by UESTC, a research about multi-channel, configurable digital IF processing platform technology is launched in the dissertation, which features parallel multi-channel signal receiving , real-time digital down-conversion mechanisms, effective low-level control, extensive instrument driver and application software packages and so on.Through the index analysis, in the dissertation the digital IF processing platform's hardware architecture is analyzed first, then the overall design idea of multi-channel, configurable digital IF processing platform is elaborated, and a user-oriented open architecture is put up finally. In main control logic design of the system, the design processes of address decoding, data cache control, digital down conversion control, clock and trigger control, data processing part have been described in detail. Main control logic design achieves the hardware logic control and digital signal processing of acquisition data. The system master control logic occupied less than 10% FPGA resource. In software design, the design ideas, development of instrument drivers and application software are described in detail. Making use of a design approach based on LabVIEW development platform, the software design attains the objectives that the user can configure flexibly, plan testing tasks and realize secondary development, which meets software Radio receiving system's open, scalable, configurable requirements. Finally, according to the test, the digital IF platform's performance indicators have been integrated authentication.
