In recent years, along with the fast development of computer science, micro-electronics technology, network communication and automation and their penetration with each other, modern instrument has been provided with character of times of Industry IT. The technology mainstream is digital, intelligent, network enabled, subminiature, high-powered, high-reliable, high-stable and optical-mechanical-electricalNow, Chongqing instrument products are mainly based on 8 bit SCM. During product development, there is empty of corresponding standards and criterions so that product quality depends on the experience and cability of work group. The research production and other resources during the instrument development can not be managed and stored leading to repeat exploition, low efficienc and low reliability. As the development of embedded technology, intelligent instrument with 8 bit SCM should follow the design method and development mode of high embedded equipments to improve the research level. The paper originates from Chongqing Key Technologies R&D Program"The research of embedded software open platform oriented intelligent instrument and its support environment". Catering for the application of low microprocessor in the instrument industry of Chongqing, an IDE for instrument are exploited following the point of view of embedded system. Related technologies and problems are analyzed in detail.Based on the Cygnal microprocessor of C8051F060 used in one instrument by China Silian Instrument Group Corporation Limited, a demo board with extended hardware module is designed. The kernel ofμC/OS-II has been ported on C8051F060, including the research of kernel structure, task management, time management, inter task communication and synchronization. Hardware driver modules of C8051F060 are programmed to establish a software resources lib and interfaces for user transferring are reserved. Through software resources management system, research production and other resources can be stored for reuse so that reduce the research cost, shorten development period and improve the reliability.Based on software and hardware platform and corresponding resources lib, a common, fast, high-effective and visible IDE containingμC/OS-II for the development of intelligent instrument has been constructed to neatly customize different instrument product.
