In recent years, biosensor technology has made great progress. With the advantages of great-selectivity, high-accuracy and low-cost, biosensor technology has been widely used in chemical process, biotechnology monitoring, environmental monitoring etc. Different kinds of biosensors output different signals. Therefore, it is necessary to research and design a reconfigurable transduction circuit module for multi-type sensing signal. Virtual instrument follows open technical standards. By combining virtual instrument technique to reconfigurable module, to investigate a reconfigurable LXI instrument module for multi-type sensing signal is of great significance.A scheme of reconfigurable transduction is proposed through analyzing the characteristics of bio-sensing signal. An implementation of reconfiguable hardware circuit is given by intergrating conditioning circuit of different transducing signal. Of the signal acquisition method, sub-Nyquist rate A/D conversion which is based on compressive sensing technique is researched. Data acquisition circuit of modulated wideband convertor is designed to solve the problem of speed and accuracy. Of instrument designing, an architecture of software and hardware of LXI instrument system is given through research of LXI Standard. LXI module to module data communication and IEEE1588 precision clock synchronization are realized based on ARM embedded system. Standard VISA driver is achieved on PC. Finally, the designed instrument system is used for detection of ethanol fermentation to verify the correctness and effectiveness of system functions.The experimental results show that the reconfigurable hardware module can measure different kinds of sensing signal accurately, and sample with high-accuracy. Intelligent instrument based on LXI bus is verified to be correct, and it shows steady operation and good repetition.
