Communication access network is based on the original copper network and can not meet the high-bandwidth multi-service communication needs, it needs to be communication access network with fiber optic-based replacement for the next generation communications network. Through practical research, decided to use FTTB model based on PON technology, mainly to docking network to transform an update in order to achieve access network of optical fibers and needs.This paper is the response to these issues in order to access network based on PON technology, the construction program as the main object of study, in-depth analysis of the building in different scenarios of different building models, while new technologies under the voice network and the broadband network construction, network management systems and support systems make recommendations on the planning of the program. The main contents are:1. Analysis of current communication network to access copper network and the situation analysis transform the existing copper network with fiber optic cable to conduct light into the necessity of copper retreat. Of PON technologies are introduced to illustrate selected PON technologies for optical back into the copper causes. At the same time compared FTTH, FTTB, FTTN three modes, select the main building FTTB mode.2. Put forward the overall plan for the construction of the access network, according to customers are divided into three types: government-enterprise customers, urban residential customers in rural areas, customers, namely the construction of different models. The same time, OLT placement, ODN planning, splitter placed to do the planning.3. To study the transformation of PON technology to access, under the premise of the voice network, broadband network, network management network carried out the recommendations of networking, cable evolution of the program, copper out of the program, as well as light into the back of copper under the conditions of network management systems and IT support the transformation of the system-building programs.
