Office Automation System Based On Web Technology Research And Development

Office automation is a working way to combine office with the computer technology and the network technology. It makes a part of office work be materialized through various kinks of modern equipments, and a man-machine information processing system is composed by office works and the equipments for some kind of goal. Office automation has become an important way to realize management modernization of enterprises and institutions. The transfer of information will be faster, safer and more convenient by using the office automation system, thereby working methods will be developed and high efficiency will be realized.Enterprise office automation system is studied and realized in this dissertation used the Visual Studio.NET 2003 and SQL Server, it based on the architecture of B/S. This dissertation adopts the design model that is divided into three layers (user show layer, business logic layer and data access layer) and the modularized design principles. This enterprise office automation is composed by five functional modules: system management, press release, personnel management, document management and the internal mails. Authorization management is the key component in the modules, and the security model is operated by the role. The role is an interface layer which differentiates the authorization of the modules and the user. During the implementation procedure the system uses the TreeView component to construct the main frame and the tree directory of the frame of document management, and uses HTML editor to edit the mail content. In order to enhance the art effect, the system also uses the JavaScript scripting language to realize some dynamic effects. There is a function of searching the stored documents by category in the document management system. Moreover, this system adopts the humanist interface design principles and is easy to operate. So the common users can know the system functions and master the methods in short time.
