As the network developing continuously, building maintainable and extensible web site, integration of platform-cross application are developers' hard missions.Web Service, shows up in recent years, is the best solution of the problems.Presently, the video teaching platforms of Chongqing's academies are mostly web based which serve students with their video resource in the foreground directly. In this way, the network delay is shorter, but coming with it is the fatal limitaion. For sharing the video resource, every academy should have a teaching platform, which wastes so much human and material resources on developing the same system with same fuctions repeatly. Meanwhile, as an application, which is a system for only one academy's video resource, it also has a big limitation. This paper using Web Service technology puts video teaching platform in the background.Instead of developing the same system, each academy develops characteristic service for their teaching resource. Those services can be integrated by the aplication of third party into one application system. The whole video teaching service is distributed, but this paper only talks about one service ,because every service procided by each academy almost has the same fuctions.Firstly, the paper analyses demands of the service's functionality and capability, and designs the function modules.Secondly, mapping each module into each group of service's interfaces, and wiht the use of Web Service technology the paper puts those interfaces on the internet as "plug and play" groupware providing service for applications of third party. Lastly, the service is tested by a web application which integrates two video teaching services with different video resource.
