| Course Scheduling is one of the daily jobs that every school educational administration does, which mainly solves various problems such as available classrooms, teachers and timetable for each class. Traditional way in doing this kind of job has a lot of disadvantages, which is repeating and ineffective and can never make the best use of teaching facilities.With the help of computer, the system of Course Scheduling is to assign each class courses automatically each semester and arrange the time and place for classes at the same time. This system can not only save the educational administration personnel from complicated work of arranging classes for teachers and classes, make the educational administration work more effective, but also can improve the work of the educational administration, and make the best use of teaching facilities. In order to realize this aim, it is very urgent to exploit one timetable scheduling system which our school best.The essay first introduces the current situation of arranging classes home and abroad, the development, constituting, ways and methods in developing and its process. Then it offers a detailed design plan according to the teaching specialty and plan of the school, on the bases of needing analysis of timetable scheduling management. After that, it modeling the system uses Erwin and it describes the exploiting environment of the system. Adopting the VFP8.0 programming software, it tests the whole system after realizing every function of this system. At last, the essay summarizes the whole work and gives an expectation of it.The system mentioned here has been running quite well in Sichuan Commerce and Trade School by now, and teachers, students and the educational administration personnel are all benefiting from it. It turns out that this system can satisfy the requirement of our school educational administration. It can also offer the same kind of schools something valuable in timetable management. |
