Research And Implementation Of Workflow Graphical Modeling Tool

Workflow management system is the software implement which supports the roboticized management of corporation, it can increase corporations' efficient and quality. Workflow modeling can convert practical courses of business to formal descriptions which can be handled by computers, it is one of the important functions of the workflow management system, if there was not a model which is created by process model tool, workflow management system will not has a entity which can be executed and attempered. Traditional form modeling tools are easy, but they are not intuitionistic and flexible, VC-based graphical modeling tools are the desktop applicatins, these local installation processes will bring inconvenience to software upgrade and maintenance.Against the limitations of traditional form and VC-based graphical modeling tools, the architecture of web-based workflow graphical modeling tool was proposed according to the interface one of workflow reference model which was brought out by Workflow Management Coalition. This architecture included the application layer, business logic layer, data access layer and data layer. The organization model, resource model, form model and process model were given, the call methods of interface components in application layer for this four models were realized by JavaScript. Considering the common of the modeling tool, in order to be explained by workflow engines which are based on Web services, implementing a workflow management system which is based on Web services, the process definition models were stored by XML files.In order to satisfying the need of the standard training system of resident for above theoretical model, a specific workflow graphical modeling tool scheme is proposed. According to the above theoretical model of above workflow graphical modeling tools, UML Interface Component Graph is brought forward, model file format and data form are designed, the server and client are implemented. It implements many workflow patterns, such as serial, synchronize embranchment, synchronize merge pass, self-cycle, agency and so on. This workflow graphical modeling tool can facilitate the definition of process, realize the settings of acess control, and satisfy the various needs of the standard training system of resident.
