This thesis proposed a new kind of workflow modeling tool, which is based on the workflow technique and the ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) conception. This workflow modeling tool integrated the workflow management technology with the ALM conception seamlessly, retained the advantages of the two, and proposed a resource mutual exclusive mechanism to deal with the problems caused by multi-user read or write the same resource at the same time at the distributed environment. All these function made this workflow modeling tool work well, and it is the improvement of the traditional workflow modeling tool.In this thesis, the process model, organization model and resource model are analyzed, and the integration of the three models to form a whole entity model is analyzed also. The detailed designing process is described, which contains the designing of the package, workflow, activity, transition and so on. This thesis proposed a mutual exclusive mechanism for reading and writing the recourses, and proposes a mechanism to deal with the deadlock. Finally, we described the function module, which contains visualization module, autoimmunization module, traceableness module and mutual exclusive module.At the last part of the thesis, the accomplish project of workflow modeling tool is described, which based on the JBoss Seam frame and the XML technique. The project contains the description of the architecture, the implementation of the B/S mode, the implementation of the visualization module, and the way to generate the XML files.In this thesis, the workflow tool, which contained ALM conception, has far-reaching affections in improving the traditional modeling tool, maintaining the software development lifecycle and designing new kind of modeling tool.
