Ptn Network Planning And Optimization Software System Design And Implementation

As the network traffic changing from TDM to packet-based data services, optical transmission network is also undergoing change. Traditional optical transmission networks have many shortcomings to transport packet-based IP services. So, packet transport network has emerged. Network planning and optimization can improve network efficiency, reduce operating costs, operators. How to effectively plan and optimize the packet transport network have become imperative.After studying various technologies of the network planning and optimization, a PTN network planning and optimization software system is designed in this article. First, this paper introduces some related technologies of PTN network planning and optimization. Then, this paper introduces system architecture of this network planning and optimization software system. Also, this paper introduces important software technologies in detail.As a practical software system, planning and optimization process is divided into several modules in this planning software. We describe the function of each module in this text. At the same time, we give a more detailed introduction of the designing and implementation to the scene planning module. Network topology planning and traffic distribution and protection is the most importent in the scene planning module. Based on the characteristics of PTN network, this paper provides an improved algorithm for mesh topology planning, which improved the performance of traditional pruning algorithm. This paper presents a practical algorithm for finding the Kth shortest path, the algorithm has a good application in the traffic distribution and protection algorithm.At last, we use an example to verifying the relevant function of the software system.
