X1100 Black And White Ccd Camera Developed

CCD cameras are widely used in TV seeker, security monitoring, medical photography, industrial control, machine vision applications and scientific image fields. At present, Japan and America are the world leader in CCD camera technology, especially very successful in the applications in aviation, aerospace and a variety of guided weapons. Foreign products of advanced CCD cameras are not only expensive, but are subject to strict state control. Therefore, the independent development of CCD cameras which can meet the military requirements has become an urgent object.The present paper describes the background and application value of such a project, explains the development course of CCD cameras and provides a brief introduction to the operational principle of CCD cameras. Based on a series of laboratory tests, the present paper has presented an analysis which illustrates the structural principle and main functions of Model 1100 CCD Camera made by COHU, an American company. In this paper, a detailed discussion about the external circuit design of the said project which has developed Model X1100 CCD Camera equipped with a built-in SONY chipset is given. Besides, test equipment and test methods for a CCD camera are introduced as well.For the Model X1100 Monochrome CCD Camera of Plate-level its electronic shutter, automatic gain control, line lock, external synchronization and other functions have all been realized. The said project has also developed the Auto-Integration Control Circuit as a complementary supporting of a CCD camera. All products can meet the military requirements involved in the environmental adaptation.Model X1100 Monochrome CCD Camera of Plate-level has been used onto multiple projects. The production output of it is over 70 sets. A lot of tests of different projects have proved that it can work stably in line with the requirements set forth in the development contract of the project.
