SAP R / 3 is an integrated enterprise resource planning system which based on the client / server architecture and open systems. It's Function coverage of financial, logistics (engineering design, procurement, inventory, production and sales, and quality, etc.) and human resource management, SAP business workflow systems, and Internet applications link function and other aspects. Each module if R/3 can either be used alone, but also can be combined with other solutions. From the process-oriented perspective, the higher level the integration among the application softwares the more benefits they bring. R / 3 system is not just a software, it is a strategic solution. Business Intelligence is mainly based on SAP R / 3 system, and to carry out ETL (Extraction - Transfermation - load) process, statistics and analysis historical data, so as to provide decision-making support for the enterprise policymakers.This paper is to address the problem to SAP BI as the main object of study, combined with the demand for human resources system and its features of CNPC, the study made a practical and implementation for the SAP BI systems. The main results are as follows:1.The study of ERP theory: The development,technology and function of BI can achieve……2.The study of the characteristics of the CNPC's ERP system: such as: differences from general industry's ERP, the characteristics of the oil industry is standard and integrational large-scale human resource management information system.3.The research of the ERP implementation methods for the HR system of CNPC: first, the implementation methods of HR system, second, the implementation method of it's BI system, the third, the implementation method of BI conjunction with EP.4. The future development trend of ERP systems: Integration of ERP and Business Intelligence, SEM .and so on……...
