With development in the electricity industry, especially the reform of electricity industry management, the electric plants are compelled to change their traditional mode of management to meet the needs of the market and realize their goals.After years of development, the management system of electric plant informatization has undergone changes through infrastructure building, extensive management, to meticulous management. The construction of the information management system in this research is based on SIS, which enables real time data to be transmitted to real time database. SIS Database Construction Project has been implemented, and a dedicated SIS network has been built. MIS collects information of manufacturing process from the real time database server and performs custom application development.When the system is developed, data generated from all sources in the electric plants will be standardized and a unified data management platform will be built. A computer network will be used to connect real time database system, basic level units and management branches, which will form a company-wide information management system to share resources on the platform within the company. Using computers accelerates the processing of information flow, so that all sectors in the plant can receive the exact information they need on time and make decisions accordingly. As a result, the other resources in the company can be more effectively controlled and utilized, and facilitate the management of the electric plant.
