With the rapid development of computer science, the wearable computer has become the next generation of computer's mainstream development direction. With the combination of wearable computer and the medical monitoring technology, the shortcoming that traditional medical monitoring is been made up. Which makes it possible that collects and store of physiological information and real-time monitor, diagnostic and alarm of the patient as well as in the patients'daily lives.This study entitled "The Design and Implementation of CPU for Wearable Medical Monitoring System", the main task is to design and implement a dedicated embedded CPU for Wearable Medical Monitoring System. The content includes:1. Study the construction and function of normal CPU.2. Study the function and application of Wearable Medical Monitoring System.3. Pay attention to the common and special characters of normal CPU and dedicate CPU, implement dedicated CPU for Wearable Medical Monitoring System.The thesis bases on modern EDA technology, designs and implements a CISC processor with the ideas of RISC in FPGA. The main characteristics are as follows:1. To the character of data collected, set a floating point processor in the ALU, which could process the number of floating point.2. We analyse the characters of CISC and RISC, and decide to adopt a state machine controller, because this method can avoid the complex micro-program controller.3. To the characters of Medical Monitoring, we design the health information comparator array which can expand. The function of comparator is to compare the collected data with the standard reference value. If any information is abnormal, alarming directly. This unit can avoid accessing data in the memory and improves the efficiency of the entire Medical Monitoring System.
