Cdn Management Standardization And Distribution Strategy Study

Nowadays, management-system based on WS-management Standard has been a hotshot both domestically and abroad, while no research about its application on CDN is found. Till now, the CDN in China is set up by switches and buffering devices from foreign manufactures. This leads to high price of hardware, poor compatibility and difficulty to manage. Besides, CDN servers are manufactured separately by several manufacturing, so private interface, different OS are provided. Different tools are required to reach the management target. This again leads to series of problems, such as low efficiency, high cost and relatively low cost-benefit ration.To solve the problems of CDN such as lack of standard, poor compatibility and poor availability, WS-Management and CIM are first introduced into CDN management area to solve those problems. In this article, we raise a new solution:a completely Ws-Management and CIM based CDN. We aim to provide CDN interface modeled by CIMOM so that its management can be standardized. This model improves the scalability, availability, fault-tolerance ability and performance-cost ratio of CDN management. The result of simulated experiments indicates that the system has quite good performance.
