Soft packing material is widely used in fliud packing of foodstuff. But because the soft packing material has no fixed shape and can not be pressed, according to the market research,there is no an automatic filling box machine for soft packing products in our country.This thesis designs a controller for the prototype of an automatic filling box machine against this background.After analyzing the characteristics the prototype,this thesis gives the overall design program based on its functional requirements,which is from the design target.The hardware of the controller uses ARM7 MCU LPC2214 as the main controller,includes the driver to filling box machine actuator,the location detection of filling box machine actuator and the driver to servo motor. CAN bus,RS-485 and RS-232 port are also designed.Corresponding to the filling box process of soft packing products,the software of the system mainly includes taking empty boxes,pushing empty boxes,filling soft packing products to the empty boxes and earring full boxes,which is designed by modules.Based on the hardware and software design,all modoles of the system are carried out testing.The result of the debugging process shows that the system with stable performance can complete the desired good features of this stage. According to the debugging,this thesis points out how to improve the system performance after analyzing the defects and deficiencies of the system.
