With the development of electronic technology, especially appearing with the Single chip microcomputer, which brought the changes of the root to people’s life. As a core component In real-time detection and automatic control of the system, which works with the structure of the concrete hardware and corresponding software, Single chip microcomputer can control and drive the system. The washing machine controller based on the single chip microcomputer control system has replaced the traditional mechanical control system, and become the trend of the application of washing machine.This article mainly introduced a design of automatic washing machine controller for the Japanese market. As the core of the system, the NEC78F0513D Single chip microcomputer responsible for the detection of water level> buttons、door switch status;as the same time which responsible for Responsible for output of display、 beep、 motor loading. The introduction of the knob increase the attractiveness of the washing machine appearance. The desing of fuzzy weighing is a Characteristic;. Fuzzy weighing which use different damping effect from clothing material、 weight to motor, can let single-chip intelligence to judge how much clothing, and choose the right water level, self-completion of the laundry process, all of which need just one key operation.Washing machine controller design includes hardware design and software design of two parts. The papers introduces the washing machine controller design in detail from the circuit principle, the selection of important components, the hardware debugging, user interface, software design, software debugging. through the washing machine controller it realize the control function of washing machine.
