Based On The Kmpdm East Lo Pdm Project Implementation

PDM technology, which has been developing rapidly since the early days of 1990s, is an emerging technology. It serves as one of the most important stages to the building of enterprise information, PDM technology is used not only in the fields of the management of documents, product structure and work flow, but also in providing enterprises with a working environment featuring a parallel system of the products design and manufacture.Along with the application and popularization of CIMS project and parallelism project, PDM has been accepted by most of manufacturers and is in application stage.In this paper, the author, under the PDM project implementation background of Nanjing AEROSUN-TORA Expansion Joint Co.Ltd.(Hereinafter referred to as TORA), reviews the basic concept of PDM technology and the background, analizes main features and the implementation of PDM for the benefit of manufacturers, and introduces the current research focus and direction of the PDM technology and the application status of manufacturers at home and abroad.It is also pointed out that, proceeding from the enterprise product data and its management characteristics, before the project's implementation,,we should, according to enterprise PDM system's analysis of aggregate demand, set project objectives, select the appropriate software that suits individual needs of enterprises, and focus on using scientific methods to establish the implementation of PDM systems technology program, so as to develop enterprise information solutions.The author summarises successful innovative implementation,problems,and effect of PDM application cases for manufacturers, and gives practical suggestions on PDM popularization.
