Based on the law in judging steelmaking end-point from converter mouth, first a programe based on Labview which can read and write spectrum datas in files in real-time is developed; then the method of wavelet thresholding is put forward for the spectral information from the converter mouth we deal with contains so many noises that it is quite difficult to determine the end-point and carbon content; utimately, the signal in real-time displaying and processing based on Labview platform is achived. The system we built is consist of several parts,such as real-time reading or writing in spectrum data, signals trends processing and filtering, also the corresponding experiments is established. Using different wavelet threshold filtering approaches to process the signals which are collected by first part of our system, we compare and analyze the results which use SNR as a indicator and conclude that when we select SURE as threshold selection method, and only the first layer to adjust the threshold in the soft-threshold fuction for the signal processing, we can get the best filtering effect. And the datas between spectral information processing system processing based on Labview and the Matlab simulation are compared to verify the accuracy of the results and the feasibility of the system. The system is useful for real-time BOF end-point judging and carbon content analysis, and has important pratical values.
