The wave of informatization has shed wide and profound influence on the human society and pushed forward the innovation of the traditional industries dramatically, especially the mass media industry. Informatization has changed the way we generate, spread and obtain information, and thus the operation models and business models of the media have been get rid of from the every root. Recently, it is a common global tendency that traditional media are on decline in a quick speed while the internet media are booming. In face of the severe pressure, the traditional enterprises speed up their paces in transforming to the businesses of the internet and new media. As it is, the transformation and resurgence of the traditional industries has become an important subject in the media industry.China is a major power of the media industry. The Chinese media companies are faced with the challenges to get reformed in the informatization age as well. At present, most of media companies have implement the developmental strategies of the internet respectively and, relevant research and works emerge in endlessly. However, in such research of transformation, the focus is on the transformation of organization structure and system, with the organizational culture largely ignored.There are so much research result and management practice both at home and abroad, therefore, people become more aware of the importance of organizational culture in the organizational innovation. The business transformation and organizational innovation in media enterprises which is carried out in the big background of information age and knowledge-based economy will inevitably undergo profound change in organizational culture. Therefore, it is of great practical significance and theoretical value to study the organizational innovation of media enterprise in internet age from organizational culture aspect.The thesis has cited a well-known traditional media company C as a case in point.
