Collaborative Product Design Model Transport Mechanism

Collaborative product design is a application model of the modern design techniques , it is combined by two and more than two design main body, in the network environment of the distributed computer, the mutual cooperation with each other to complete a product design process. Product's collaborative design with a real-time collaboration of remote network environment .How to cross time and space environment, between the collaborative designer,they can feel each other's design changes real-time, is one core issues of model transmission of the collaborative design. In this paper, the main study is the transmission technology of the CAD model real-timeof co-design, the main work is:(1) After analyzing the basic integrated tool of co-design for DXF data storage format of CAD database, based on the characteristic results buffer of the CAD graphics storage. Implement to distill a basic graphical information in the CAD, and use the secondary development of CAD interface function to obtain the data information of real-time change's collaborative design model.(2) Face the needs of real-time data transmission of co-design , give a communication protocol to adapt to model real-time transmission demand of co-design , to achieve the model's real-time change information is transfered from client to server-side, the server-side based on the uncord of the frame and recover the entity model of the client changes .(3) Information-based incremental transfer mechanism, the server will transmit incremental information of the model. Real-time transmit to the client collaborate in order to achieve synergy aware information of model design changes, the client receives and analysis the incremental model, it integrate into the original model, which has been the result model of characteristic edited.(4) The strategies which based on version control implement the conflict resolution of collaborative design model transmission. At the same time, implement a model transmission system of collaborative design to verify the feasibility of the above-mentioned methods.The research of model transmission mechanism of collaborative designed, has great significance to the building of the environment platform of collaborative design process. is the basis and premise of realization of collaborative design, shorten the product development cycle, improve product innovation.
