In CSCW the real-time collaboration research is a very important direction. The most popular problems which researchers in this area keep eyes on are the consistency maintainence problem of all kinds of documents, the solution to operation conflict and the model of collaboration such as heterogeneous collaboration. This article is based on the existed research work and begins from two special problems that researchers have seldom considered before. We will meet these problems when the collaboration applied to large-scale environment. This article will give reasonable solution to both of them.In traditional real-time collaboration the operation is sent to all the sites in the same collaboration work. This will cause problems in user notification and network latency. To solve these potential disadvantages, considering dividing the work into different part for different people is very common in collaboration work, the article gives out a new collaboration model based on group task distribution and resolves the technology problem for each module (nodes structing, task distribution, operation disposal, operation dispense, document merge) of this system one by one. All solution and algorithm will be based on linear document.On the other hand, deep research work has already been done in multiversion documents problem in real-time collaboration, but the problem of distributing these resources have seldom been considered. So the article puts this problem into the large-scaled distributed environment and brings forward the distributed multiversion document storage data management strategy based on Chord. This strategy can settle many exsiting data management problems in the large-scale collaboration application and meanwhile considering the system character quite well. It can not only take advantage of different system storage resource but also ensure resource reliability.On the base of the above two parts of work, the article will also give detail case study to validate the correctness of the algorithm for the new collaboration pattern. Besides the article will also design a system prototype and give some detail system module design.
