More and more video-core software and systems had appeared with networktechnology developing rapidly, and the interoperability relationship between video andother network resources in them becomes more and more complex. Got the standardizedexpression of the interoperability between video and other network resources, unified toprocess them through a rules engine and as a basis to establish a universal videocollaboration model for improving resource utilization and efficiency of softwaredevelopment is of great significance.First of all, analyzed the most common video collaborative applications andcollaborative software technology, summarized their characteristics. And pointed out theshortcomings of network resources co-processing by current collaborative softwaretechnology, concluded the advantage of the processing by synergy rule engine.Secondly, because of the lacking of network resource collaborative, discussed thecollaborative thinking that set the network resources as the collaborative object. Analyzedand defined the interoperation among network resources, and proposed a method thatintegrates various network resources in form of XML files. On this basis, combined therelationship between rules engine and collaborative application platform, given thestructure of the collaborative network resources rules engine design, and explains the rulesengine implementation process.Thirdly, for the time characteristic of video, given the synchronous and asynchronousrules same in collaborative processing between video and other network resources.Combined the collaborative network resources rules engine, designed the dynamicinvocation, resources with asynchronous conversion and timer functions in thecollaborative process between video and network resources. On this basis, given afour-layer structure video collaboration model with the user interface layer, video serviceslayer, video collaboration layer and data layer. Then, elaborated the model works andimplementation techniques.Finally, using Visual Studio, SQL Server2008and FMS as a development platform and tools, according to the video collaborative model, designed and developed a remotevideo teaching system. Tested the collaborative rules engine and video collaborationmodel by two test cases which are the interoperates between video and PPT in the processof real-time and on-demand video respectively, explained the feasibility of collaborativenetwork resources and the effectiveness of video collaboration model.
